Portway completed the demolition and ground remediation of two gas holders located in the south-east of the UK. The project comprised of removing the concrete structures, stabilising the contaminants, backfilling the voids with inert material.
All this was completed to a strict earthworks specification including CBR testing and a cut and fill.
